When you place a booking, ingogo will pre-authorise the entire Fixed Fare amount on your credit card.
If the trip isn't completed successfully and there's no cancellation fee, the entire amount will be credited to your card as soon as the booking is terminated. Due to limitations of the banking system in Australia, this will appear on your credit card statement as a debit followed by a credit for the same amount.
If you've incurred a cancellation fee, we'll credit the Fixed Fare amount less the $10.00 cancellation fee to your card. This will appear on your credit card statement as a debit for the total amount, and a credit for the amount less the cancellation fee.
If you have selected to pay through a cash or voucher option, we will still take pre-authorisation for $10 to pass along to the driver as compensation for late cancellations, or if you are not present at the requested pick-up time.
